Concrete Crack Filler is a unique solvent free crack sealer designed to protect cracks and joints in concrete pavements against water ingress and the breakdown of pavement surfaces. Concrete Crack Filler penetrates into the depth of the crack, filling the void and sealing against moisture and water vapours. Once dried it forms a tough flexible seal that withstands ponding water and vehicle traffic. FEATURES: Solvent Free and non flammable Penetrates and fills crack depth Prevents weeds and plant growth through sealed cracks Excellent adhesion to new and aged concrete surfaces Prevents build up of dirt and foreign matter in concrete joints Excellent water and weather resistance Trafficable after 30 minutes in normal ambient conditions (20 degrees C) Colour: Grey Size: 1 Litre USES: Sealing cracks on concrete pavements Sealing saw cut concrete joints Filling and sealing control joints Sealing between concrete pavements and utilities Sealing around poles, posts and other penetrations in concrete surfaces HOW TO USE: Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, sound and stable Surfaces must be free from moss, grime, oils, petrol/diesel residues, animal fats or grease Remove dust and loose matter in cracks and joints by blower or vacuum If concrete is loose or unstable, repairs should be made before crack sealing commences Coverage / Directions: As a guide 1 litre of Concrete Crack Filler will seal cracks 3mm wide and 5mm depth, by 5mm length It is not recommended to fill cracks that are wider than 15mm wide Concrete joints with a depth greater than 40mm require a foam backing rod inside depth of joint before filling Drying Time: In normal ambient conditions of 20C the Concrete Crack Filler will be dry within 15 minutes, ready for vehicle traffic after 1 hour In cooler conditions, drying may be prolonged Tips: It is recommended to check the surface condition of the seal after 24 hours. If any signs of shrinkage are evident, re-apply Concrete Crack Filler to the surface until the joint is filled and all shrinkage areas are covered.
